人手ではなく、仲間として
Not Extra Hands
2026年9月26日・27日の二日間、史跡旧崇広堂に国内外38組の作り手が集まります。二百年前の藩校で、四十年ちかく空いたままだった大広間です。その二日を一緒に立ち上げてくれる人を探しています。
経験は要りません。本にくわしくなくても、伊賀の人でなくても構いません。半日だけでも歓迎します。応募のときに、いま何をされているかと、得意なこと・資格を書いていただけると助かります。運転でも、機材でも、音楽でも、医療や福祉の心得でも、力仕事でも——二日間の会場では、思いがけないものがそのまま役に立ちます。終わったあとに「あれは自分もやった」と言える人が一人でも増えることが、このフェアが来年も開かれるための、いちばん確かな土台になります。
Over September 26 and 27, 2026, thirty-eight makers from Japan and abroad fill a hall that stood empty for nearly forty years. We are looking for people to help open it. No experience needed, no expertise in books required, and half a day is plenty. What keeps a fair like this alive is the number of people who can say they helped build it.

当日やること
The Work
希望とその日の状況で決めます。全部できる必要はありません。
- 出展者の付き添いLooking after an exhibitor
- 海外から来る作り手に一人ずつ付きます。二日とも入れて英語が話せる方に。ご希望の方には、事前に5〜10分だけお電話させてください。One volunteer to one maker from abroad. For those who can join both days and speak some English — we will ask for a short call beforehand.
- 会場の巡回Watching over the rooms
- 本がローテーブルに低く並びます。破損を未然に防ぐのがいちばん大切な仕事です。Books sit low, within a child’s reach. Preventing damage is the most important job there is.
- 受付The front desk
- 入場は無料です。来た人に最初に会う人になります。Entry is free. You are the first person anyone meets.
- 英語での案内Helping in English
- 海外から来る出展者と来場者がいます。完璧でなくて構いません。Some exhibitors and visitors come from abroad. It does not need to be fluent.
- 記録の写真Photographing the days
- 来年の協賛や助成を相談するとき、見せられるものがこれしかありません。When we go asking for support next year, this is the only thing we can show.
- 搬入・搬出Load-in and load-out
- 前日9月25日の設営もあります。体を動かすほうが好きな方に。Setup runs the day before, on 25 September. For those who would rather move than stand.

交通費・宿泊費は各自のご負担となります。会期中の食事はこちらで用意します。当日の配置はこちらで決めさせていただき、それぞれリーダーのもとに入っていただきます。応募の際に「してみたいこと」を伺いますので、そのとおりにはできなくても、できるかぎり参考にします。はじめての方でも困らないようにするための仕組みです。Travel and accommodation are at your own expense; meals during the fair are on us. We assign roles ourselves and place everyone under a team leader, so that nobody is left guessing on the day. We ask everyone to wear all white or all black, so that the two-hundred- year-old building stays the thing you see. Applications close at 23:59 JST on Monday 31 August 2026 for English speakers, and 23:59 JST on Saturday 12 September 2026 for everyone else.
