Even as everything goes digital, wishing for the tactile feel of turning a paper book's pages—and for the world of pictures and poems to open out across each spread—I made an easy-to-hold, A5 landscape collection of poems and paintings.

大阪梅田本店阪急百貨店宣伝部社員初コピーライターとして6年間勤務し退社後、フリーとして京都高島屋や関西の企業の宣伝企画を担当。 結婚子育てで新居建て神戸から三重に移住後、伊賀情報タウン誌YOUの外部スタッフとしても3冊グルメ本編集に関わる。フリーライターとして旅取材や、個展やファッションショーなどのイベントの企画演出も手掛ける。
After working for six years as a copywriter — the first hired into the advertising department of the Hankyu Department Store main store in Umeda, Osaka — I left the company and, as a freelancer, handled advertising planning for Kyoto Takashimaya and other companies in the Kansai region. After marrying, raising children, building a new home, and moving from Kobe to Mie, I was also involved as an outside staff member of the Iga information town magazine "YOU," editing three gourmet books. As a freelance writer, I have also handled travel coverage and the planning and staging of events such as solo exhibitions and fashion shows.

今回出展希望は、fbで知り合ったイラストレーターはんまけいこさんの絵と共作で私が詩を担当して2017初出版し、2021年増刷したマザーグースみたいな詩画集『言の葉の巣箱』です。 また、2020年に私が主催で大阪南港で開催の絵本の「第2回 ODPこどもの森とえほん広場」にエントリーしてましたが、コロナで開催が急遽中止されました。その時のリベンジをいつか果たしたいと願っていた時、この企画を知り応募した次第です。 タイトル『言の葉の巣箱』（このはのすばこ） 発行 DORADO BOOKS 既発表 2017年東京 2018年大阪 形式 A５版 横210/縦148サイズ 発行部数450 残部数 46冊 5/28現在
What I hope to exhibit this time is "Konoha no Subako" (The Nest Box of Words / Leaves), a collection of poems and pictures like Mother Goose. It was a collaboration with the illustrator Keiko Hanma, whom I met on Facebook — they did the pictures and I was in charge of the poems. It was first published in 2017 and reprinted in 2021. Also, in 2020 I had entered the "2nd ODP Children's Forest and Picture Book Plaza," an event for picture books that I was organizing at Osaka Nanko, but it was abruptly cancelled due to COVID. While I had been wishing to someday make up for that, I learned of this project and so I applied. Title: "Konoha no Subako" Publisher: DORADO BOOKS Already published: Tokyo 2017, Osaka 2018 Format: A5 size, 210 wide / 148 tall Print run: 450 copies. Remaining stock: 46 copies (as of 5/28).

Why a book
現代社会は、デジタル化ですが、紙媒体の本を捲る手触りと、見開きになると、絵と詩の世界観が広がるようにとの思いで、手に取りやすい横A５版サイズの詩画集を作りました。 また、日本版マザーグースのような詩画集は、他には出てないと感じたので、海外のイラストみたいな絵を描く絵本作家イラストレーターはんまけいこさんと組んで、私の詩で、ページ毎、フォント（文字）もイメージに合わせて変えている拘りあるデザイン構成もこの詩画集の魅力です。大人も子どもも、男女年齢問わず、楽しんでいただける詩画集になっています。
Modern society is going digital, but with the wish that the touch of turning the pages of a paper book, and the way the world of pictures and poems opens out across a two-page spread, I made a collection of poems and pictures in an easy-to-hold, landscape A5 size. Also, since I felt that a collection of poems and pictures like a Japanese version of Mother Goose did not exist elsewhere, I teamed up with the picture-book author and illustrator Keiko Hanma, who draws pictures like foreign illustrations, and with my poems. The meticulous design composition — even changing the font (the lettering) on each page to match the image — is also part of this book's appeal. It is a collection of poems and pictures that adults and children alike, regardless of gender or age, can enjoy.

伊賀は、松尾芭蕉の生誕の地であり、京都に似た祭り文化伝統もある城下町です。伊賀忍者だけでなく、ARTや伝統文化にふさわしい伊賀で、今回、この詩画集が伊賀皆さまのココロの扉を開ける鍵🔑を持っているはずだわと自信を持ってお届けします。
Iga is the birthplace of Matsuo Basho, and a castle town with a festival culture and traditions resembling those of Kyoto. In Iga — a place suited not only to the Iga ninja but to art and traditional culture as well — I deliver this collection of poems and pictures with confidence, sure that it holds the key 🔑 to open the doors of the hearts of everyone in Iga.
