About
京都、浜松、東京を拠点に活動するクリエイティブユニット。絵画、音楽、写真などを中心とした表現活動を展開しています。これまで企画展の主催や地域イベントへの参加を通じ、多様な繋がりを広げながら活動を続けています。
A creative unit based in Kyoto, Hamamatsu, and Tokyo. We develop expressive activities centered on painting, music, photography, and more. Through hosting our own exhibitions and taking part in local events, we have continued our work while widening a diverse range of connections.

なぜ、わざわざ本を
Why a book
紙媒体でしか伝わらない温かみや空気感を大切に、本を制作しています。インターネット上の情報が絶えず流れ去っていくのに対し、紙面に乗る情報は、読み手それぞれのペースでじっくりと伝わっていきます。また、イベントなどで本を手に取り、興味を持ってくださった方々と直接言葉を交わすことで、私たち自身も作品への解釈が深まっていきます。本という「実体」があるからこそ生まれる、そのようなコミュニケーションも、私たちがわざわざ本を作る大きな理由です。
We make books while cherishing the warmth and atmosphere that can only be conveyed through print. In contrast to information on the internet, which flows ceaselessly away, information that rides on the printed page is conveyed slowly, at each reader's own pace. Also, by handing our books to people at events and exchanging words directly with those who take an interest, our own interpretation of the work deepens as well. That kind of communication, which arises precisely because a book is a "physical presence," is a major reason we go out of our way to make books.
なぜ、わざわざ伊賀へ
Why Iga
まず大きな理由は、私（Karin）自身のルーツが伊賀にあるからです。幼い頃から海外で育った私にとって、伊賀は出身地でありながら、どこか馴染みの薄い存在でした。しかし、高校生になって日本へ戻り、改めてこの土地を知り直す過程で、伊賀の持つ魅力や文化の奥深さに気づかされました。 このBook Fairを通じて伊賀という土地にどのようなコミュニティが生まれ、新たな文化が形成されていくのかに興味関心があります。 また、前項でも触れましたが、ふだんは私たちの作品が届かない場所で、新たに出会う人々と言葉を交わしたいという思いもあります。伊賀という特別な場所での対話を通じて、私たち自身の作品への解釈をさらに深めていきたいと考えています。
The biggest reason, to start, is that my own (Karin's) roots are in Iga. Having grown up abroad from a young age, Iga was for me my birthplace and yet somehow an unfamiliar presence. But when I returned to Japan as a high school student and, through the process of getting to know this land anew, I came to realize the appeal of Iga and the depth of its culture. I am curious about what kind of community will emerge in this land of Iga through this Book Fair, and how a new culture will take shape. Also, as I touched on earlier, I have a wish to exchange words with people I newly meet in places our work does not usually reach. Through dialogue in the special place that is Iga, I hope to further deepen our own interpretation of our work.
