出展予定の本
Present Work
ペルシャ詩のイメージを扱った私の本を出展する予定です。『Persian Image』と名付けたこの小さな手のひらサイズの本には続巻があり、わざわざブックフェアが始まる頃までに完成する予定です。本書はまだ展示されたことがなく、限定50部のみです。
I am planning to represent my book on the Persian poetry imagery. This little hand book called the Persian Image, has another volume which is going to be ready by the time the waza waza book fair starts. This book has not been exhibited yet, and has only 50 editions.
なぜ、わざわざ本を
Why a book
私は古典期から現代に至るまでのペルシャ詩のイメージに取り組んできました。詩の中のイメージを通して語りかけ、読むときに何が視覚化され想像され得るのかを観客に示すためです。詩は主に、本を手に想像を羽ばたかせながら、私的に、静けさの中で読むものです。私はこの本を、詩の中の視覚の断片を見せられるように作りました。前兆（omen）という概念も私には興味深いものです。私たちはヤルダーの夜に詩集（ディーワーン）を占いに用いる習慣があり、私のこの本もそのように使うことができます。私は長い時間をかけ、ペルシャ詩の中に見つけた美しいイメージを一つひとつ選び、これらすべての絵を集めてきました。だからこの小さな『Persian Image』を手にすれば、それらの詩を見るのにペルシャ語を知る必要はないのです。
I have worked on the images of the Persian poetry from the classical times to the very present day poetry, to be able to communicate through the image in a poem, and show my audience what can be visualized and imagined when reading it. Poems are something we read mainly in private and silence, with a book in hand and while letting our imagination fly. I made this book to be able to show fragments of visuals in a poem. The notion of omens are also interesting for me. We tend to use Divans (book of poems) for fortune telling in Yalda night, so this book of mine can also be used in that way. I have gathered all these pictures through time and with selection of every beautiful image I found in Persian poems. So there is no need to know Persian in order to see those poems if you hold my little "Persian Image" in your hands!
なぜ、わざわざ伊賀へ

これは私にとって一つの実験です。言葉が変換されたイメージが、これらの詩を読めない観客とどうつながり得るのかを試したいのです。これは絵の力を試す実験です。
This is an experiment for me, I want to test how can words translated to images connect with an audience who can't read these poems. This is a test for the power of the pictures.
